How Does It Work?

Weekly Nutrition Coaching sessions are designed to help you go deeper into your body, mind and heart to find your truest desires concerning your health and your life. We will work together to create personalized goals and the best steps to reach them... all based on your unique body, soul and lifestyle. Though we use a nutritional assessment as our starting point, we will venture beyond the food you eat to create the healthy life you've always dreamed of.

Where Do We Meet?

I hold all my Health Coaching Sessions over the phone or via Skype. I'm not a fan of consulting over email because it doesn't provide the necessary flow of conversation and discovery, but I do offer unlimited email support between consultations! If you live in the South Orange County Area, I can also come to your home for an additional fee.

Do You Create Meal Plans?

Nope. Meal plans are awesome and convenient, but they can also make you dependent on a list of recipes instead of teaching you how to find the healthiest foods and recipes yourself. My strategy is to take your current routine (what you're already used to doing, eating, drinking and cooking), and help you find a healthier version of that routine. If you're looking for someone to completely wipe the slate clean and make a whole new lifestyle out of nothing, then I'm probably not be the gal for you.

My goal is to give you the power to look at a recipe on Pinterest and know if it's going to nourish your body or stress it out. I want you to be educated and self-sufficient in a world full of brightly colored labels and sneaky diet foods with bogus health claims. I like to think of myself as the Mary Poppins of Nutrition - If I do my job right, a time will come when you won't need me anymore. Then I'll hop on my umbrella and find the next lost soul wandering aimlessly around the Whole Foods supplement aisle in need of some nutritional magic.

What's The Difference Between a Nutrition Coach And A Dietitian/Nutritionist?

While Dietitians and Nutritionists are specially trained to give their clients diet plans, supplement prescriptions and nutritional recommendations (all of which are super important!), none of those things are going to make you better if you don't stick to them.
