As it turns out, writing while an overgrown 1-year-old is constantly trying to climb out of the furniture barricade I made for him has proven difficult these past few months. So I thought I’d give video blogging a try! I have so much information that I want to share, and this seemed to be the quickest and easiest way to get it out there.
One of the questions I hear most often as a nutritionist is “Where do I start?”. There is so much conflicting information out there about calories, macronutrients, micronutrients, protein, carbs, paleo, gluten free, and low carb craziness! While I am a firm believer that everyone has their own unique nutritional needs (as Urban Cave Baby explained to us in my last post), it is also true that there are some basic steps that will benefit almost everyone.
